On August 27, 2023, a large-scale meeting was held in Çırmıhtı with the participation of Deputy Minister of Interior Münir Karaloğlu, Minister Bülent Tüfenkçi, Malatya Governor Ersin Yazıcı, AFAD President Okay Memiş, Malatya MPs İhsan Koca and Öznur Çalık, Yeşilyurt Mayor Mehmet Çınar, Secretary General of Malatya Metropolitan Municipality Latif Okyay, AK Party District Chairman Ramazan Yaylacı, Yeşilyurtlular Solidarity Association President Mehmet Zeki Akıncı, Malatya Chamber of Architects President Yunus Emre Fidanel, neighborhood muhtars, and various chamber presidents.

Meeting Agenda and Purpose:

• To exchange information on the current status of the redevelopment processes for Çırmıhtı and Gündüzbey following the February 6 earthquakes.
• To evaluate the decisions made during the workshop held on August 26, 2023.
• To reach a consensus on solving encountered issues and to act in unity and solidarity, becoming a single voice and heart.
• To foster a collective effort to address the specific issues of Çırmıhtı and Gündüzbey, and more broadly, the issues of Yeşilyurt and Malatya.
