On-site Contribution Workshop for Reconstruction Processes

On August 26, 2023, a working meeting was held in Çırmıhtı with Yeşilyurt Mayor Mehmet Çınar and his team, including the Deputy Mayors, Malatya Chamber of Architects President Yunus Emre Fidanel, and Architect Gülçin Utaş Aslan, who has conducted a thesis on "Preserving the Traditional Texture of Çırmıhtı," along with neighborhood muhtars, wise people from various scientific fields, and civil society organizations.

The meeting was organized to contribute to the planning and zoning efforts by the government for the redevelopment of ancient Çırmıhtı and Gündüzbey, which were destroyed in the February 6 earthquakes. Topics discussed included the area's ground structure, city planning, architectural design, engineering issues, and the zoning processes for registered buildings, with on-site inspections conducted.
